Bird Watching at the

Gimpo Hangang Wild Bird Ecology Park

Hangang Wild Bird Eco Park-Gil, Gimpo-si, South Korea

I became interested in bird watching after moving near the Gimpo Hangang Wild Bird Ecology Park. I often visit to observe and photograph migratory birds and have documented various species and their behaviors, improving my photography and observation skills. I studied the park's ecological restoration efforts, such as artificial feeding, creating wetlands, and managing human access, which helped make it a healthy habitat for migratory birds. Through this experience, I developed a strong interest in ecology and environmental science.

+Environmental Clean-ups

I actively engaged in the process of cleaning the Han River alongside various groups and organizations. Initially, I volunteered alone at the Hangang Wild Bird Ecology Park, where I dedicated time to preserving the natural habitat. Afterward, I participated in several group clean-ups during the winter, spring, and summer breaks, contributing to the shared effort of environmental stewardship. Throughout these events, I collected and recycled trash at a local station, helping to promote a cleaner and healthier ecosystem for both wildlife and community members.
